Stephanie McGregor, our esteemed cousin, embodied the timeless wisdom of our ancestors as she blazed a trail for generations to come. Born in Gayle, St. Mary, Jamaica, on April 9th, 1911, she carved her name into the ancestral lineage by becoming the inaugural woman of African descent to grace the esteemed halls of the Royal Infirmary at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. With unwavering courage, her journey resonated with the echoes of our forebears, laying a sacred path for others to walk in reverence and honor.

My great-great-grandfather, Dr. Henry Robins, was a distinguished medical doctor in Jamaica and Scotland during the 1800s. During his time, earth-based healing and botany were integral to medical practice. Dr. Robins skillfully blended the rich botanical knowledge of the Caribbean with the traditional healing practices of Scotland, emphasizing a wholistic approach to wellness. His legacy of natural remedies and wholistic health continues to inspire and guide our modern practices, honoring his contributions and the enduring wisdom of our ancestors.
